Los kimonos Montsuki vienen en una variedad: Cresta única (HitotsuMon) Crestas triples  (MittsuMon) o Quintiple Crestas (ItsutsuMon).

Cuantas más crestas estén representadas, mayor será el valor del kimono y, por lo tanto, lo marcará como una herencia más orgullosa de Japón.
